The great thing about this Yopey Befriender scheme is that not only does it help lift some of that feeling of loneliness, which then has a positive impact on health and wellbeing, but it also brings generations together.

This is an extract from an inspection report by the Care Quality Commission on the Windmill House care home in Wymondham, Norfolk, which rated the care home Outstanding.

So far YOPEY has worked with about 20 care homes. Our YOPEY Befrienders have contributed to at least 3 of those homes being rated Oustanding by the CQC.
